“Tex” Production Diary – Day 6

This was a much easier day than we’ve had in a while. Fewer actors, a shorter scene, and a set that we built ourselves (see previous entry). Svetlana and Rodrigo were amazing. “Tex” Set Construction

I set up a camera on a tripod and hit the shutter every few minutes as we built and decorated the set for Elisabeta’s bedroom. We started with blank walls, and ended with a bedroom fit for a vampire queen.

“Tex” Production Diary – Day 5

Day five, we wrapped up the brothel scene, and killed off the last 3 vicious, nasty, sexy vampires. I really want to thank the talented and lovely ladies who put in so much of their time and skill into this movie. We asked people to put in a professional level of commitment and yet also [...]

“Tex” Production Diary – Day 4

Apart from that and a special effects malfunction, I think it went quite well. We got through the fight [...]

Tex Production Diary – Day 2

Ok. Day 2 was awesome. The crew was on top of their game. The cast nailed the performance and did their own stunts. I was a little worried about the location when we got there, but we fixed it with lighting and a bag of sand from Home Depot. It’s another long day tomorrow. I [...]
