“Love and War” speakeasy location
Our speakeasy scenes will be shot on location at Bathtub Gin & Co. in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood. It has a great old-fashioned, underground-yet-classy ambiance. It’ll work perfectly for the film and is also a great place to get a drink. Pictures below:

“Love and War” Casting: Rafe
Rafe is the protagonist of “Love and War”. He’s a lover and a fighter, damaged but determined. He will be played by the handsome and charismatic Bjorn Whitney.
“Love and War” casting: Ophelia
Ophelia is a WWI nurse, a tender spirit, caring yet somewhat exasperated by the violent games boys play, wounded but not completely hardened by the atrocities of war. She will be brought to life by the lovely and talented Rachel Smart.
“Love and War” casting: John
John is a major supporting player in “Love and War”. He is the friend of Rafe, the lead, and fights alongside him and offers mostly sympathetic, but somewhat aloof advice. He will be played by the dashing Aaron Heinzen

I’m talking to the owners of a farm near Olympia about letting us dig a trench and shoot there. It’s nice and flat with Oak trees for that European look.
