A short Super 16mm Film produced by SFI

SYNOPSIS:
Tex is a gunslinger in the old west who has dedicated his life to hunting down and killing vampires. His travels bring him to a brothel run by vampires as a front to lure their victims. It also happens to be run by his ex-lover. Tex is haunted by his past, but will he be able to discover the dark secret that binds him to his prey, or will his righteous rage blind him?

AUDITION DETAILS:
Please come with a headshot/resume and a prepared monologue, 1/2 – 2
minutes in length. There will also be a short cold read.

ROLES:
Tex: Male 25-40 – a battle-hardened old west gunslinger, with secrets in his past. Physically fit.
Father Pena: Male 40-60, hispanic – a priest-turned-vampire
Elisabeta: Female 20-35 – Tex’s vampire lover, vampire brothel madam, foreign accent a plus
Dixie: Female 20-35 – Elisabeta’s second-in-command, vampire, fights with a sword
Beatrice: Female 20-30 – a vampire hooker
Mariana: Female 20-30 – a vampire hooker
Maddy: Female 20-30 – a vampire hooker
Uma: Female 20-30 – a vampire hooker
Jenny: Female 20-30 – a vampire hooker
Illyana:Female 20-30 – a vampire hooker

This is the final project for the filmmaking program at Seattle Film Institute. It is being produced by student filmmakers with several film and video projects under their belts. We will be using professional cameras, lighting, and sound gear. Come help us realize the Western Gothic world Tex inhabits.

Unpaid, non-profit, student group project. Copies of the finished product will be given out on request, along with meals provided along the way.

    First off, congrats on pursuing this stressful art form as a filmmaker, but its addicting. Unaware of the audition but as a hispanic male from Texas while not a priest, maybe I can help. Sounds good from the synopsis you posted, feature or short? I’m off but may this exceeded expectations.
