“Tex” casting horses

Yesterday we went out to Skyland Ranch which is providing the horse for the film. We spent the afternoon looking at horses, talking with our Wrangler, Pat, and checking out the immediate area for good shooting locations.

When we walked into the corral, the horses strolled up to us, curious and friendly as dogs. One of them kept trying to nibble on Alex’s green hair. They’re truly beautiful animals and I’m excited to use them in the movie.
